A few months ago I was watching a movie researching on what is truly the secret to success. With the movie “The Secret” out in the world, and our society being trained by media and deceiving hype, that we can achieve anything and everything with simple push button solutions, we are hypnotized away from reality.

100s of Clickbank products claiming push button softwares that can make you millions, infomercials selling bogus pills and gadgets that can make you slim, and MLM sponsors showing us the dream to the perfect world luring us to join their down-line.

Where have we lost our innocence, our honesty and our integrity.

People are selling us on the dream with empty promises and claiming to have A SECRET that can magically solve our problems.

How does that logically make any sense???

But guess what? You and I keep on buying that Clickbank junk, that gadget from infomercials, and that expensive software that promises to deposit money in your bank account everyday!

Come on lets GET REAL PEOPLE

We get disappointed with the results and we go back in our loop of finding yet another person who is going to sell us a magical solution. We buy from the person who tells us what we want to listen verses the honest person, like you, who is going to tell you the facts on your face.

I consult with a lot of clients and students on business and marketing, and I get repelled by people who expect me to give them a magic pill and a glass of water that can make everything perfect for them!

Yes there is a magic pill to everything! BUT it has side effects.

Desire: You wanna make money magically? Magic Pill: Go rob a bank Side-Effect: You will probably go to jail Optimal Solution: Serve others through your business

Desire: You wanna loose weight and get six-packs? Magic Pill: Go to a doctor and get a surgery Side-Effect: Other health problems Optimal Solution: Workout and change your eating habits

See! Its obvious to our LOGICAL brain, but alas! our EMOTIONAL brain buys that magic pill junk all day long.

Enough of the background NOW the REAL secret

You know I won’t bedazzle anything for you here. I am going to give you the straight honest to God truth!

And to make my point more solid, I got some really famous people to back me up!

Reporter: You are working so hard, recording, shooting, editing. when do you sleep? 50Cents: Sleep? Sleep is for those people who are broke! I don’t sleep.

Reporter: What did you do when you went broke and millions in debt? Donald Trump: I didn’t really had time to think too much about it. I kept going, I kept meeting people and worked.

Donald Trump, Bill Gates, Sylvester Stallone, Steve Jobs, Anthony Robbins, Dan Kennedy, Jim Carry and countless other successful people, were all broke at one point in their lives struggling to make ends meet and begging to get their foot in the door.

Trump was in a debt for millions of dollars. Steve Jobs was once kicked out of his own company, Apple, and he had to leave town to save himself from embarrassment.

This is going to Determine one’s success

Let me ask you this question:

Do you think you have the courage and the strength to keep on going when your million dollar company is taken away from you?

Can you keep on going when your 100 million dollar empire falls apart and you are left with millions of dollars in debt?

The answer to that question will determine how far one goes in life.

The ability to keep on going regardless of the circumstances is the REAL secret known by ALL, but used only by the few to get all the riches one’s heart desires.

No amount of SEO, PPC, partnerships, College Education, Experience, Training, Expert help is going to help you if you don’t have the ability to confront your fears and weaknesses. PERIOD!

Aziz, You are 100% correct. That is the number 1 problem that everyone has. "FEAR" Fear of losing fear of destruction fear of disappointment. That is the reason why people fail. I've lived my entire life in fear and I do understand now. 36years of negative mindset. Not easy to change but if it needs to change it has to start today.

Good advice, best understood by all who will be successful to remember: if you focus on failure that's what you see if you want to see something decay watch a dead body if you want to see the natural prosperity of life work like you mean to see - what you do (the object others see, or what you sell) is the expression of the heart of your desire for life how's that for philosphic =)

hey Aziz, listen, i'm a great fan of you and your input, I always read what you have to say, and must admit you nailed it right on the head there. I'm working since 1 year for myself, and it's true that if you want to be successful in what you do, you gotta put in extra miles, and not just a few, be willing to sit down and put in work and when the going gets tough, the tough should get you going! There are no second places, the winner takes it all! After 1 year of blistering hard work and networking, i'm finally starting to break through to some people and finally i'm getting the juicy requests, now only need to bag these opportunities. You see, most people think that rich people cheat and lie. but in fact these people made quick fortune and are falling away left and right because they made mistakes and their lies and cheats turned back in their face. the rich people that are still rich, made their fortunes by staying honest, helping out friends and get paid for it! Do a good job, customer returns, do a bad job, customer stays away. If you consider each job as your last job, you will always do a good job! keeps customers coming back for more, more importantly, stay honest. Aziz - awesome article. I love this! Honest to God, I have been the victim of many retarded scams. In everybody's life, there comes a very distinct emotional realization that all good things in life take a lot of hard work. Hopefully this resonates with people.

Aziz, I needed that. Facing fear and weaknesses is exactly where I am at the moment. All this time I've stopped dead in my tracks when problems arise that are beyond my experience or skill. This article makes " failing forward" a lot more appetizing. It keeps your momentum going.

In agreement, I am. I believe if we took some time to really study some basic psychology on how people think, we would have a better understanding. The most puzzling question for entrepreneurs is "how to create/corner the market share for your goods and services." It seems that we need to answer that basic question "how do we..." So understanding human emotions, their desires are crucial. Then the other thing, understanding all these methods to reach your niche or target market using current/modern technologies and applications. It shouldn't be so complicated, yet we spend countless hours research, searching, tweaking, changing, perfecting....oh goodness! It gets overwhelming. We just have to keep on seeking, questioning and connecting with each other. Creating meaning relationships that last. Anyway, great blog, I love this layout, nice and clean.
